Martin has more than 25 years experience in finance and technology and is widely recognised for his strategic vision and leadership in the European venture ecosystem.
Martin was most recently CEO of Molten Ventures Plc (GROW) - overseeing the investment portfolio expansion to over 60 companies and 42 funds across Europe.
Martin previously served as Head of Europe at Aegon Asset Management and CEO of investment management business, Kames Capital.
Prior to joining Kames, Martin was CEO at Cofunds, the largest advisor platform for financial intermediaries in the market, which he joined after 8 years at Zurich Insurance Group.
Before Zurich, Martin held senior roles at fintech business Misys, online banking business Corillian and data business Reuters.
Martin originally served as an officer in the British Army, deploying operationally in both conventional and specialist roles.

He has led initiatives to accelerate capability adoption for national security and defence communities across UK, Europe and with international Allies.

A dual Finnish/US citizen and long-term UK resident,Chris is a seasoned venture investor and possesses a strong technology background coupled with deep investment experience across multiple stages and geographies.
Chris holds an M.Eng./S.B. in Computer Science from MIT. His graduate studies were funded by Draper Laboratory, an independent national security research lab, where he worked on parallel path planning algorithms for submersible drones. His operating career has spanned technical and commercial customer-facing roles within enterprise software, including pre-sales consulting, software development, implementation, and product marketing.
After an INSEAD MBA, Chris launched his 20-year venture investing career at Index Ventures in Geneva, working as an Associate under firm founder Neil Rimer. As Principal at Fidelity Growth Partners Europe (now Eight Roads), he led their Series A round in Neo4j. He held senior investment roles at Conor Venture Partners, Next47 (N47), and Valo Ventures. His dual-use investing history includes Varjo, Behaviosec, Operant and Cerbos.
